Burning Tree students represent a diverse population with an enrollment of 506 students in Kindergarten and Grades One through Five, including 34 students in the school based Learning Center. The students come from many countries around the world. The ESOL Program (English Speakers of Other Languages) includes students speaking as many as 19 different languages with a variety of ability levels and backgrounds. This diversity provides the school with a rich cultural heritage. There are hearing impaired students currently receiving services, but who are mainstreamed in the general population.
Burning Tree is guided by a partnership among students, staff, and parents. Shared Beliefs are the principle guiding their work.
